How to add custom field to the email
You can add your custom field to your email template very easy. Clicking on text edit, new options will appear. Click on Merge and you will see a list of all predefined fields. Hover over Custom Fields and the list of all your custom fields that have option Merge With email selected, will appear. If field does not have Email Merge Variable selected in your Settings > Custom Fields > Edit Field, it will not appear on your email template.
Do not select default value on Drop-down Select
If you do not want to have field pre-selected for a visitor, make sure to check option Uncheck Default in your custom field.
