Gmail

1.Create subfolders in the gmail account which you planning to sync to FunnelBud:

• Click the + sign on the right side of Label

• Enter the label name on the text box that appears

• Optionally tick the box for "Nest Label Under" and choose a label

• click Create

2.Enable 2FE on your google account 

Allow 2-Step Verification

1. Open your Google Account.

2. In the navigation panel, select Security.

3. Under “Signing in to Google,” select 2-Step Verification  Get started.

4. Follow the on-screen steps.

3. Enable IMAP on your GMAIL 

Step 1: Check that IMAP is turned on

1. On your computer, open Gmail.

2. In the top right, click Settings. See all settings.

3. Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.

4. In the "IMAP access" section, select Enable IMAP.

5. Click Save Changes.

4. Disable Mail sync in FunnelBud (if you had it connected previously):

5. Get app password from your Google account and use it instead of your account password when you create sync

5. Connect your Gmail account with FunnelBud system (please follow steps below):

Important:

Don't choose  google as an option when syncing, use custom instead

IMAP hostname = imap.gmail.com

Port = 993

 TLS = yes

SMTP hostname = smtp.gmail.com

Port = 465

TLS = yes

5. After that you can drag and drop emails (that you want to sync to Funnelbud) from Outbox OR Inbox folders into subfolders that we built and emails will be added to Funnelbud during 15 - 45 minutes.
