Our company has updated our email address. Can I change the email address in my user account?
It's not possible to change the email address of your user account but there's a workaround.
Create a new user using your new email address
Set up Mail Sync with the new user account
Deactivate your old user account.
In the user deactivation popup, reassign all emails, leads, open opportunities, accounts and reminders to your new user account
In the same popup, you will also see all the workflows where your old user account is used. Make sure that you update those workflows and reassign any tasks and notifications to your new user account.
I generated a password and was able to logged in. However, when I logged out and tried logging in again, I get an invalid login credentials error. I tried changing my password multiple times but the same thing happens. What is wrong?
Are you using your username when logging in? New users must use their username and password when logging in. You can find your username in the email sent to you when your user account was created. Please note that your username is not your email address.
