MAnaging multiple teams with separate reports

How can we manage multiple sales teams and see reports for each sales team?

Assuming we wish to see separate pipelines for each of our team but at the same time, we want to be able to report on the total pipeline value for all teams.

ALTERNATIVE 1:

Different pipeline for each team. But then there's no combined report for all teams.

ALTERNATIVE 2:

One pipeline for all teams. Then we can filter the pipeline per individual person (for example manually select which team member's opportunities to show), and we can filter the reports by team.
