Facebook Tracking Pixels

To create a Facebook pixel, do the following:

1. Open a new tab in your web browser.

2. Navigate to the Facebook Events Manager in that browser tab.

3. Click Connect Data Sources.

4. Select Web.

5. Click Connect.

6. Enter a Pixel Name.

7. Click Create Pixel.

8. Enter your landing page's URL.

9. Click Check.

10. Click Next.

11. Select Conversions API and Meta Pixel.

12. Click Next.

13. Click Continue.

To add a Facebook pixel to a landing page, do the following:

1. Navigate to the Facebook Events Manager.

2. Select the desired created pixel.

3. Click Continue Pixel Setup.

4. Select Install code manually.

5. Copy the pixel code to your clipboard.

6. Open another new tab in your web browser.

7. Log in to SharpSpring in that browser tab.

8. Click Landing Pages in SharpSpring's left toolbar.

9. Create or edit a landing page.

10. Click    Edit Code in the left panel.

11. Click the Head tab.

12. Paste the pixel code at the bottom of the header.

13. Replace the & ampersand with %26 in the pixel code.

14. Remove the <noscript> and </noscript> tags from the pasted code.

15. Click Save and Close.

16. Click Continue in the Facebook Events Manager browser tab.

17. Optionally, click the Automatic Advanced Matching toggle.

18. Click Continue.

19. Add events as necessary.

20. Click Done.
